It controls blood sugar levels and thus can be used for those having diabetes. It has anti-flatulent properties that helps in proper digestion and reducing flatulence. Cinnamon herbal tea is extensively used for curing sore throat. Oil can be extracted from cinnamon which has similar benefits. Cinnamon, if taken as medicine, is extremely useful but in high concentrations it is said to cause liver and kidney damage.
